75-year-old Hatice Yıldız, who was arrested after the Court of Appeal approved the sentence of 4 years and 2 months imprisonment given to her by the Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court, was taken to the hospital after she felt unwell. Yıldız was tried on the charge of "financing a terrorist organization" for depositing money to her daughter and her daughter's cellmate in prison.

Yıldız, who was detained by the police who went to her home in Esenyurt, Istanbul, on March 23 and was carried to the courthouse on a stretcher, was arrested and put in Bakırköy Women's Closed Prison.

Yıldız has many health problems such as high blood pressure, eye, herniated disc and spinal curvature.

Yıldız's relatives went to prison today because it was a meeting day and they were informed that Yıldız was transferred to Bakırköy Doctor Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital.

Her lawyers applied to the Constitutional Court (AYM) for Yıldız yesterday.
