Nature plunder in Bertûl Valley

NEWS CENTER - In the Bertûl Valley, which is located on the foothills of Gabar Mountain and attracts attention with its unique nature, the plunder of nature has started with construction equipment.

The slaughter of nature, which has been carried out by village guards under the supervision of the military for more than five years in Şirnex geography, has spread to new regions. The natural wonder Bertûl Valley, located above the town of Qesirk (Kasrik) and on the slopes of Gabar Mountain, is being destroyed. In the region, which is banned for civilians by the Şırnak Governorate, nature is being plundered with diggers.

The Bertûl Valley, named after the village, is one of the places where thousands of people visit every year to cool off with its magnificent waterfalls and natural pools.  However, the governorate has completely banned entry to the region for the last year on the grounds of "security".

In the footage, it is also seen that roads are being opened for oil exploration in new areas and the slaughter of trees. While the clear natural pools turn into mud colour, the diggers are slaughtering the trees in their path.
