BATMAN - After being raped by specialized sergeant Musa Orhan, and attepmted suicide afterwards, İ.E who lost her life in the hospital where she fought for her life, died and was buried last night under police blockade. Delivering the body to the family, the police did not allow anyone except the immediate family to attend the funeral.

 

18 year old İ.E who was raped by specialized sergeant Musa Orhan in the Beşiri district of Batman, attempted suicide on July 18 and lost her life in the hospital yesterday. She was taken to Batman District Hospital after the authopsy. Her body was delivered to her family 17 hours later, around 03.00 A.M. She was buried in Batman Asri Cemetery under intense police presence.

 

POLICE INTERVENTION

 

Nobody was allowed in the cemetery except the family during the funeral. Police prevented the representatives of political parties, MPs, humans' right defenders and non- governmental organizations from attending the funeral. While the crowd who was not taken to the cemetery reacted to the situation, police attacked HDP Siirt MP Sıdık Taş and those who accompany him. The body was buried by immediate family members.
