Silvan and Diyadin trustees dismissed from office

DİYARBAKIR / AĞRI –   Silvan Municipality trustee Mehmet Uslu and Diyadin Municipality trustee Hasan Doğan were suspended.
 
After Silvan Municipality Co-Mayor Naşide Toprak was dismissed on March 24, 2020, District Governor Mehmet Uslu was appointed as a trustee. Uslu was dismissed as part of the investigation conducted by the Ministry of Interior. This time, Ömer Faruk Çelik, Çerkeş District Governor of Çankırı, was appointed to replace Uslu.
 
No information was obtained regarding the investigation conducted against Uslu.

Hasan Doğan, who was appointed as a trustee instead of Diyadin Municipality Co-mayor Betül Yaşar, who was dismissed and arrested, was suspended. It was stated that an investigation was carried out within the scope of the Gülen Congregation against Doğan, who was dismissed in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Interior.
