DİYARBAKIR - HDP Diyarbakır Provincial Co-chairs Hülya Alökmen Uyanık and Zeyyat Ceylan were arrested.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Provincial Co-Chairs Hülya Alökmen Uyanık and Zeyyat Ceylan and Yenişehir District Co-Chairs Remziye Sızıcı and Kasım Kaya, who were detained after a police raid on their party buildings on October 22 as part of an investigation carried out by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was referred to court after 8 days of detention.
HDP Co-Chairs are accused of printing the poster of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, which was hung on a couple of walls in the Sur district of Diyarbakır.District co-chairs Sızıcı ve Kaya were referred to court with request of judicial control measures, while provincial co-chairs Hülya Alökmen Uyanık ve Zeyyat Ceylan were referred to court with a request of arrest.
Provincial Co-Chairs Alökmen and Ceylan were arrested with the accusation of 'being a member of a terrorist organization' while Sızıcı and Kaya were released with judicial control measures.
