NEWS CENTER - Kurdish politician Maki Revend stated that the attack that resulted in the death of 5 peshmerga in Metîna was planned by the KDP and MIT, and that there was a plan to hold the PKK responsible for killing civilians.
The tension that started with the participation of the KDP in the cross-border operation of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) against the Federated Kurdistan Region continues. 5 Pesmerga lost their lives as a result of the attack against the military shipment to Metîna, 4 of them were injured. No explanation has been made regarding the nature of the attack. However, the KDP claimed that the attack was carried out by the HPG. Making a statement on the issue, HPG refuted the claims and demanded that the scene to be investigated by an independent delegation. However, no investigation has been done yet.
Politician Maki Revend from the Federated Kurdistan evaluated the cross-border operation of Turkey and the involvement of the KDP.Revend made a statement that KDP and MİT will kill civilians and hold PKK responsible. Basing his statement on his sources with the KDP, Revend said KDP and MİT are planning to kill civilians.
JUNE 5 ATTACK
Revend stated that he received information from within the KDP before 5 peshmerga lost their lives and 4 peshmerga were injured in the attack carried out during the military shipment of KDP special units to Metîna on 5 June. Revend said: "I recieved the information two weeks before the incident. I was told that 10-15 peshmerga would be killed by KDP and MİT and PKK would be held responsible. I made statements on the issue and the attack was carried out 10 days later. PKK was accused of it. However, everyone knows that the PKK didn't do that. KDP knows it as well. It is obvious that the vehicle was hit from the air."

Expressing that new plans were made regarding the cross-border operations and civilians will be targeted, Revend said: "The same team, MIT and KDP, will kill civilians this time and hold the PKK responsible. I got this information from inside the KDP, and told after June 5. A house was raided in Dinarte a day later. The people living in that house told that their house was raided by the PKK and they were going to kill them but they escaped. Revend said: "This is what the KDP is planning now. They will start to kill people. They killed the peshmerga, now they will kill civilians. They will spread black propaganda that the PKK is killing civilians. The Kurdish people must see this clearly."
