MERSİN - The protests organized by young people against the appointment of a trustee to Akdeniz Municipality continued on its 9th day. 

 

Young people have been on the streets for 9 days against the appointment of a trustee to the Akdeniz Municipality in Mersin. Young people took to the streets in Yenipazar and Demirtaş negihbourhoods and protested by lighting fires. Young people responded to the police attack with fireworks, molotovs and sound bombs.

 

The protest of the young people continued until late into the night.
