CHP's candidate for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Ekrem İmamoglu, made his first statement regarding the election results. Imamoglu said: "As of now, we have data at a rate of 45 percent. According to the data we have obtained, we can say this: our citizens' trust and belief in us has paid off. We are currently monitoring with good data. Therefore, we are pleased with the photo you see now. No election is concluded until it is finished."

 

Imamoglu called to the ballot box officials to remain on duty until the election results are known.
