NEWS CENTRE - Presenting its final opinion in the Narin Güran case, the prosecutor demanded aggravated life imprisonment for 4 defendants.
The prosecutor presented its final opinion in the case regarding the death of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing on 21 August in Çulî rural neighbourhood of Rezan (Bağlar) district of Amed (Diyarbakır) and whose lifeless body was found on 8 September.
Nahit Eren, one of the lawyers of the case, stated that the prosecutor requested aggravated life imprisonment for 4 defendants. Eren shared the following on his virtual media account: ‘The Public Prosecutor has presented his final opinion on the merits of the NARIN file, which is being heard at the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court, as of today. In the prosecutor's opinion on the merits, the Public Prosecutor requested that 4 defendants be sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment for the offence of intentional murder with participation. On 26 December, we will take our place in the hearing hall of the 8th Assize Court to say Justice for Narin.’
