Solitary Confinement to Kotan who is 42 kilos after the hunger strikes

DİYARBAKIR - Erdal Kotan who is currently 43 kilos because of the long term hunger strike he participated in Elazığ No 1 High Security Penal Institution, was punished with solitary confinement for 13 days.
 
 
Journalist İdris Yılmaz who is in the same prison with him sent a letter and told about Kotan's situation and the pressures on the prisoners.
 
Journalist Yilmaz reported that many unlawful experiences took place after the hunger strike, and that no one was taken to a doctor except for a few detainees and that no treatment was applied. Yılmaz said:" They just took some blood and gave us B12 and D vitamins. Many of us are experiencing health problems due to the lack of treatment.Our friend Erdal Kotan, who was on hunger strike, fell to 43 kilos after the action. He has bloatings in his hands and ankles.He was also punished with solitary confinement despite his situation. 
 
 
Yılmaz also stated that the letters coming to them are being confiscated without a rational justification and that their letters are not being send too.
 
Yılmaz finalized his words by saying that they can not write about all of their problems fearing that they won't send the letter.
