İZMİR -HDP's Murat Çepni, stating that the ordinary prisoners who were released already started to commit crimes, said the paramilitary forces were released for the survival of the government.

While the political prisoners were excluded from the law on execution, thousands of criminals were set free. The balance sheet of the few days since the prisoners were released shows many murders, attack against HDP Kars Municipality building and violence against women. A person called Mehmet I. killed Ümit Ardıç who he had a discussion with few days ago in İzmir. Mehmet I was captured at his apartment. Three people convicted of drug trafficking, extortion and murder attacked Kars Municipal building. No legal action was taken about the three.

A women Nesibe called for help via social media. Nesibe, took a video and said: "A man whom I divorced three years ago subjected me to violence. He was arrested and imprisoned for just one month. He came to my door and threatened to kill me. I don't want to die. It will not be important my photo being shared ın social media when I'm dead. I don't want to die."

HDP İzmir MP Murat Çepni, evaluating what's happening, said the government should be fighting coronavirus but they are taking these horrible decisions.

Emphasizing that prisons do not have healthy nutrition and hygiene conditions and that many people live together during the epidemic, Çepni said: "Because of the outbreak, thousands of prisoners were released in many countries. In Turkey, the government enacted this law in a very opportunist manner.

SPEACIAL AMNESTY GRANTED TO CRIME MACHINES

Çepni, stating that AKP is fighting the people instead of the coronavirus, said pro-government gang members, crime bosses, those who frauded the state and those who committed crimes against women were released.Çepni, stating that the government left those who oppose to it to dead with the excuse of the outbreak, stated that this package is a violation of the 10th article of the constitution.

OPPONENTS LEFT FOR DEAD

Stating that the gangs started to commit crimes the minute they were released as in İzmir and Kars, Çepni said: "Like the July 15 coup attempt, AKP turned this crisis into an opportunity. They released their paramilitary forces for their survival and condemned those who oppose the government for dead. Political prisoners are in prison because they said no to the misogynist policies of the government, because they said no to the destruction of the environment. Now the government want to punish them by condemning them to death by virus."

WE WILL NOT CONDONE

Çepni, stating that they will continue to fight against this package on execution, said: "This is one of the worst AKP has done to the people. We will not condone that and we will not let this go. We will not tolerate our comrades being left to die in prisons. HDP will continue to be at the center of this struggle."
