DÊRSIM - Dêrsim Co-Mayor Birsen Orhan was released after the court accepted the objection of her lawyers.

Dêrsim Co-Mayor Birsen Orhan, who was replaced by a trustee appointed by the Ministry of Interior, was released. Birsen Orhan was released on 24 November on judicial control condition of "house confinement" following a detention warrant issued against her. Another detention warrant was issued for Birsen Orhan on charges of "opposing the Law on Demonstrations and Marches" and "resisting a public officer". On 30 November, Birsen Orhan was taken to Tunceli Courthouse and was arrested on the same grounds after her statement to the prosecutor's office.
 
Birsen Orhan's lawyers' objection to the arrest warrant was accepted by the court. Birsen Orhan was released with a ban on travelling abroad and a judicial control measure. Birsen Orhan is expected to come to Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Dêrsim Provincial Organisation.
