Trustee protest in Parliament

ANKARA - DEM Party MPs protest trustee appointments in Parliament. 

People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) MPs protested against the appointment of trustees to municipalities in the Parliament's General Assembly. DEM Party members knocked on the tables and chanted slogans such as "Trustees will go, peoples will stay" and "Kayyum is a coup". 
 
Upon the protest, CHP MP Gülizar Biçer Karaca adjourned the meeting for 10 minutes. After the recess, the assembly reopened and DEM Party members continued to protest. Upon the DEM Party members' insistence on their protests, the assembly was recessed again. 
 
Protests continued even after the second recess. The action of DEM Party members continues.
