Citizens who flocked to the area in the Cizre district of Şırnak from the early hours of the morning with their national clothes are dancing the halay. People were kept waiting at the check points for a long time due to the HES codes. While there was a queue about 2 kilometers around the festival site, the crowd went bigger and bigger while people were kept waiting. People shouted the slogans 'PKK is the people, PKK is here", HDP is the people, HDP is here" and “Bijî berxwedana zindanan”.
Creating difficulties for the citizens at the checkpoint, the police tear gassed the Newroz area, where tens of thousands of people were waiting.
