NEWS CENTER - Turkey's attacks on North and East Syria were condemned in Aleppo, Qamishlo and Heseke.
The attacks of Turkey and the Syrian National Army (SNA) against the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria continue. In the last attack against Tishreen Dam, 6 civilians were killed and many people were wounded. The attacks were protested in Qamishlo, Heseke and Aleppo.
Cizîrê Canton Social Justice Assembly and Lawyers' Union reacted that Turkey's targeting civilians and civilian settlements is a violation of international law.
In the press statements organized in Qamishlo and Heseke, it was stated that "the violations of the Turkish state against the people and geography of the region are war crimes according to the Geneva Convention and Roman Law".
It was stated as follows, "The continuation of the violations of the Turkish state will mean the creation of a suitable environment for the re-emergence of the ISIS terrorist organisation. Therefore, the US and other countries in the international coalition must stand against Turkey's violations against the region. You must stop the Turkish state's crimes against our region and hold it to account. Otherwise, this international silence will be considered as complicity in Turkey's crimes."

The Health Council of Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiyê neighbourhoods in Aleppo also condemned the attacks by Turkey and affiliated groups. Speaking on behalf of the health workers, health worker Henan Şêxo said, "Targeting civilian settlements, civilian infrastructure, hospital and school buildings, ambulances and public convoys is a war crime and a crime against humanity."
